The International Conference on Interdisciplinary Educational Reflections (ICIER) will be held for the eighth time this year, aiming to address current developments in education from an interdisciplinary perspective. The conference is organized in collaboration with the Faculty of Education at Near East University, which is ranked among the top 500 universities in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings, and the Turkish Cypriot Women Entrepreneurs Association, with the sponsorship of Acapulco Hotel.

As in previous years, ICIER adopts an approach that places education at the center of the United Nations’ 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. Within this framework, the conference addresses global priorities such as gender equality, inclusive education, reducing inequalities, peace and justice, environmental sustainability, healthy living, industry, and innovation from an educational perspective.

The main objective of ICIER is to highlight the interdisciplinary reflections of education and to bring together academics from different fields, education professionals, non-governmental organizations, and all stakeholders of the education system on a common scientific platform. The conference aims to contribute to the development of educational practices across various disciplines by enabling the discussion of emerging opportunities and challenges in today’s world from a scientific perspective.
